How does being “A Professional” give us legitimacy?
I wanted The Title.
By calling myself The Title, I thought I would be legitimate.
People would listen. I would be important. My voice would matter.
By itself, The Title meant nothing.
If people were going to listen, if I was going to be important, if my voice was going to matter, I needed to do something.
Very few people listened. I never became important. My voice didn’t matter.
I could not be something without doing something.
Jeff Goins says people who want to be The Title should:
Declare for yourself, whatever you want to become; and then do it.
The Title does not change how to become a professional. To be a professional, you have to do it.
Without doing, The Title becomes meaningless.
Go and do it. Become it. The world needs you.
What are you going to do today to become The Title?
