Whether you drive hours to get to Fredericksburg or you commute from across town, at some point you need to eat. Food and fellowship is a highlight of the BGAV Annual Meeting for many, and we want to help you enjoy the best food in town.

Looking for a Fredericksburg favorite? Just a few days shy of their annual winter hibernation, stop by Carl’s for some of their famous frozen custard. Locals say the long lines shouldn’t turn you away; with just three flavor options, your choice won’t be too difficult.

Castiglias offers a wide range of traditional Italian and American favorites. “Probably the best place to eat in downtown Fredericksburg,” says a Google reviewer.

A block off the river in downtown Fredericksburg, Sammy T’s menu offers standard sandwiches, soups and salads with the added bonus of vegetarian and vegan options, all prepared with the freshest ingredients possible. Open daily, 11:30am – 9:30pm.

Wegman’s Market Cafe
If you have never heard of Wegman’s, many will say you haven’t truly lived. A short walk across the parking lot from the Expo Center, Wegman’s is more than a grocery store. It is a prepared foods haven, with hot meals by the plate, pizza, a full bakery, deli and salad bar, and a selection of international flavors, including a Wokery and Sushi Bar. Open Open 6 am – Midnight, every day.
Starbuck’s, McDonald’s, Sheetz. No matter your coffee preference, options abound throughout Central Park.

Central Park and Spotsylvania Towne Centre
If you haven’t figured it out by our numerous mentions of Central Park, you may never need to leave. With the Expo Center located at the north end of the shopping district, drive south on Carl D Silver Parkway toward Plank Road, and you’ll see it all.
Across Plank Road is Spotsylvania Towne Centre with numerous other options, indoor and outdoor mall shopping and a movie theater.
