We believe our God is Jesus
We believe that He is Lord
We believe that He has saved us
Breakthrough comes when you least expect it. In the lowest of lows, the pit of despair, in the valley of the shadow of death.
But we do not fear.
Time by the clock passes us by, second by second. We get older and our kids grow up. Life changes and families shift, but one thing remains the same.
In the midst of these seconds, minutes, hours and days are moments we must capture in order to grow, to be challenged and to expand our worldview.
I just had a breakthrough. One of those moments where you start to understand. You make less of yourself and more of the One who created you. When it happens, you are reoriented toward what is ahead.
This sums up this breakthrough:
I am counting on the Lord; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word. (Psalms 130:5 NLT)
The beauty of these words is where they originated for me: in the midst of a larger narrative of this Lenten season, our preparation for the celebration of Easter in two short weeks.
Go in peace this week, eyes and ears alert to the breakthrough coming your way.
