“Yes.”
You sent your Son to us, for us, with us.
Will we seek Him?
Honor Him?
Remember Him this season?
We say, “Yes,” God.
Like Mary said, “Yes,” and Joseph said, “Yes,” and the shepherds and wise men said, “Yes.”
We say, “Yes!”
On this first day of a new week, help us say, “Yes,” to you and to the people around us who need us to say, “Yes.”
Help us say, “No,” where we need to trim, cut back and downsize so we can fit in the right, “Yes.”
With each passing day and each tradition, memory and symbol we think of, use it to turn our attention to the gift of Christ.
Thank you for saying, “Yes,” to us. Fill us with the Spirit of this Season, today and this week.
